# Introduction

The aim of this gitbook is to document how I solved a box on **Hack The Box** or **Try Hack Me.** 

I have realized that its easy to become the sort of person who solves a box and moves on. Since I am fairly new to the ethical hacking scene and still learning, I will be taking detailed notes (for myself) of the methodology I used to pwn a box, as well as the commands I ran.

I also aim to have a separate gitbook to act as my cheatsheet for the commands I run on various boxes. This will save me time and effort in cases where I need to run a similar command in the future.
